Bathe in the view - hot tubs, baths and showers where you can soak up the outdoors

We love a good outdoor wash and we think we’re pretty good at it. We’d like to think we have some of Britain’s most scenic hot tubs, baths, double baths and outdoor showers in our collection and we’re rounded up some of ours, and our guest’s favourites below. So lie back, relax and enjoy, you can almost feel the wind in your nips…

Bath of dreams at Humble Bee, Devon

The outdoor bath of dreams at Humble Bee, running hot water, heated bath walls and a woodland view. Not to mention the human sized beehive it comes with.

A fabulous bath under an oak tree at The Stag, Cumbria

Down a gravel track from the farmhouse at this cosy space, you’ll soak under the trees, watching the light change on the peaks and a few distant rooftops, with the sounds of sheep and cows drifting over as you bathe.

Bathe in the views at Maylies, Northumberland

The standout feature at Maylies, a stylish double shepherd’s hut, has to be the huge outdoor bath, gaze over the steam to the Northumberland National Park and marvel at the other standout feature, the location.

A bath under the stars at Meadow Head Orchard Hut, Lancashire

The wood-fired tub, wide enough for two and lit by a string of bulbs, is an incredible place to lie back and let your tension and your thoughts float away on the steam.

Soak in a Swedish tub at Walk Wood Wagon, Sussex

Al-fresco relaxation, soak in a Swedish wood fired bath amongst the bluebells at this off-grid, woodland wagon just an hour from London

It’s just how we roll at Humboldt, Herefordshire

Soak in the roll top bath on the deck of your secluded tree cabin whilst you wait for your wild feast from the smoker or barbeque and gaze across to the Malverns.

Double down at The Old Piggery, Devon

The medieval residents of Windout Farm would have been no strangers to outdoor facilities, but it’s unlikely that they would have imagined anything like this, a giant pair of rolltop baths positioned perfectly for the hillside views.

Inside outside at Pinkfoot, Lincolnshire

Watch geese sweep into land on the lake as you soak in the egg-shaped bath, with the walls rolled up at this luxurious Lincolnshire lodge.
