Can you take dogs glamping?

Of course! We know of one dog alone that's been on 11 Canopy & Stars trips. There are plenty of glamping places that accept dogs, although not all do. We have a filter on our site to help you find them and you can always get in touch with our Guest Experience Team if you have any questions.

What does dog friendly mean?

When it comes to glamping, dog-friendly means that you and your dog will both be welcome to stay and enjoy a memorable adventure in the great outdoors. There will be plenty of space for your dog to roam and a cosy spot for it to sleep in, in the same space as you. The owner may have dogs of their own and some places have restrictions about the number of dogs they accept, so please check the Essentials tab or get in touch with our Guest Experience Team if you have any doubts.

Should I take my dog on holiday?

It can be great fun taking your dog on a glamping holiday, but it can require extra preparation. It's wise to have your pet microchipped and you'll want to ensure you pack all their essentials (food, lead etc). If you’re travelling abroad, you may also need to visit your local vet for a certificate that proves your dog is fit to travel. Again, remember to check if the place you're staying has any special rules, although every place in our Dog-Friendly collection should be fine!
